Point Of View.!
The point of view in the story is first
person. That can be seen by the story's use
of I statements. The use of first person in the
story allows the reader to see how Jill feels
through the events in the story and how she
perceives the events that are happening to
her.It allows the reader to feel more
connected to the story and have a sense of
being in the story and feeling the same ways
the character does.

Connection #1.!
One connection to the story's point of view can be made through the book Twilight by Stephenie Meyer. Twilight is also written in the first person. It was told through the eyes of Bella, the main character. In Twilight, it is very easy to see how Bella is feeling throughout the events of the story. It's also easy to see her thoughts and reactions to certain things and it helps people become more involved in the story and make the reader feel like they are a part of the story. It is the same with Pancakes's usage of the first person point of view. Both of these stories share the first person point of view and the effects it has on the reader.
Connection #2.!
A connection to the story's point of view can be made through the novel, Perfect. In Perfect, things are less than perfect for the main character Isabelle. Isabelle has an easting disorder and has to attend group therapy. In Perfect Isabelle tells the story and explains her feelings of her eating disorder. Both Perfect and Pancakes are written in first person.
